Redlands Has a Great New Cafe

Carolyn's Cafe is a pleasant surprise tucked away on the north side of town. I was so impressed with the bright little cafe-I don't know what I expected but what a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed a club sandwich on sourdough toast. Ok, so maybe it doesn't sound out of the ordinary, but everything from the fresh bread to the thick cut bacon to the fresh deli sliced turkey were excellent. The restaurant was full which is always a good sign to me that the food must be good.
The service was great--friendly personalities, good service and quick food delivery. I also enjoyed the bustling atmosphere--good energy, not a raucous distracting environment. I am excited to find the cafe near my work on the north side of the freeway. I recommend giving it a try.

I ate at Carolyn's Cafe as well. I too was surprised to see fresh oven roasted turkey and beef on the sandwich menu. I'm a breakfast gal and ordered a vege scramble and YUM! It came with spinach and fresh firm mushrooms with homefries on the side. I'm bringing my family to breakfast this weekend.

I have attended several wine dinners, but not one as fun as The Farm Artisan Foods. They set up one long table for 40 or 50 which was a great way to meet people and keep you engaged. The food and wine were pared perfectly. It was so educational and fun that I have booked the March 5 wine dinner as well.

Carolyns cafe' was fun for lunch today. I saw an old friend's picture on the wall - Fuzzy Jamison. I'm curious how his picture got on the wall.
